Twelve of the thirteen provinces and territories in Canada offer provincial nominee programs (PNP). PNP programs offer applicants a direct pathway to obtain permanent residence status with relatively lower eligibility requirements compared to federal immigration programs and classes. Successful nominations from PNP programs often ensures successful permanent resident applications.
